Written by the same author who wrote God of Slaughter, it's not as bloody and full of sexual content like it. It has a similar world-build, less female companions, similar fights and both share a system of four "superior" races.

One thing I don't like about this novel is the inconsistencies, which however I will not mentioned because they might be spoilers.

It has an easy to understand cultivation system, and the first half is relatively good. But in the latter half, the action is rushed, there is unfinished plot, new plot is added for the sole reason of making up for some plot holes.

It's not among the best novels from this site, but it still has a good amount of popularity, and being completed lets you read it from the beginning to end.

Early chapter fights are really great, up close and personal, but unfortunately most of the later fights are terrible and they often drag on for many chapters and have anticlimactic results. Most fights end with the enemy getting away, it is incredibly frustrating because it happens so often that it is predictable. Other aspects of the story also feel artificially dragged on. "You will know when you are ready", "Your long lost relative wants to see you but he cant right now, try again in another 500 chapters".

The world itself is pretty interesting, the different realms, and passageways to them, but the exposition, the way these things are introduced is terrible. All the characters, including the MC, have a tendency to explain their plan to their opponent who then escapes. MC also magically knows things sometimes cause of his magic blood or whatever

In almost every arc the enemy ends up becoming a necessary ally against the bigger threat of the next arc, This can be fun a couple of times, but it quickly looses its charm. I can only think of one group that continued being an enemy until the moment i dropped it around ch. 1600 (Edit: which i just found out is only a couple hundred shy of the end, but i'm not at all compelled to go back and finish)

What kind of ending was this¿? I don't want to spolier anyone, but It's as if the main character is one person during the first half of the story and other the 2nd half... Even the way he cultivates, his friends and companions, wives, masters.... disapear into thin air never to be mentioned again.

He doesn't even care about her mother or worries if she is dead or alive, there is not even a sad epilogue and ***SPOILER***

He fights the "bad" ones trying to destroy his universe and when he wins his decision is to become the bad ones and go around destroying other universes............. Pathetic.
