WB Golden Champagne Fizz:
(Rosmel's Golden Wonder x WB Champagne Split) 4/18/2007
This little girl gave us a run for our money trying to guess what color she would be. Born a flaxen apricot color with pale grey eyes, she shed out to a dark golden liver chestnut. (See Golden as a baby for color.) She is cute, with wide set eyes and stocky build. Fizz is 12.3 hh and is currently lunging and being bitted. $1000 September 2008: A hair sample sent to UC Davis shows that Fizz is genetically BLACK, with a silver dilution gene that dilutes her black color to a flaxen liver chestnut appearance. Although chestnut in appearance, she cannot produce a chestnut, and is homozygous for black. Results: E/E a/a N/Z
